Glowly AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and safeguard your information when you use the Glowly AI mobile application and related services.
Personal Information
Information you voluntarily provide, such as your name or email address (if applicable).
Facial Images & Facial Analysis Data
Facial images (photos or camera captures) that you voluntarily upload or capture within the app for AI-powered facial analysis, and non-identifying analysis data derived from those images (such as skin features, proportions, and aesthetic indicators).
Device & Usage Information
Information about your device (device model, operating system version, app version) and app usage data (features used, time spent), collected to improve app functionality and stability.
We use collected information solely to:
Glowly AI does not perform biometric identification, facial recognition, identity verification, or create biometric identifiers or biometric templates.
Facial data is not used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or AI model training.
Facial images are processed only after explicit user action (capturing or uploading an image).
Users may withdraw consent and delete their facial images and analysis data at any time within the app.
Core app functionality is not dependent on providing optional personal information.
Facial images and analysis results are stored locally on the user's device and within the user's private iCloud (CloudKit) container.
In addition, when you complete a facial scan, a copy of the scan photo is stored on our secure cloud storage infrastructure. This copy exists solely so the app can display your photo back to you on personalized screens (such as your results and subscription screens). Stored photos are kept under randomized, unguessable identifiers linked only to an anonymous app user ID — never to your name, email address, or other contact details.
All data is encrypted in transit. We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards consistent with Apple's security and privacy standards.
To perform AI-powered facial analysis, facial images are transmitted transiently to third-party AI service providers solely to generate the requested analysis.
We also use trusted infrastructure providers to operate the app: cloud hosting and storage (Vercel) for scan photos as described in Section 5, and subscription/paywall infrastructure (Superwall, RevenueCat), which may receive your anonymous app user ID and non-identifying appearance-analysis scores in order to personalize in-app screens. These providers do not receive your name or contact details from us and are contractually restricted from using this data for their own purposes.
Glowly AI does not sell, rent, or share facial data for marketing purposes.
All third-party service providers used by Glowly AI are required to provide data protection and security standards equal to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.
Facial images and analysis data on your device and in your private iCloud storage remain there until deleted by you within the app.
Scan photos stored on our cloud infrastructure (Section 5) are retained while you remain a user of the app. You can request permanent deletion of your stored scan photos at any time via the app support channel — we will remove them using your anonymous app user ID.
Upon deletion, facial data is permanently removed. Glowly AI does not maintain backups of deleted facial images.
Glowly AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
